This week I’m featuring Faye Valentine art from Cowboy Bebop. Bebop is one of the best animes of all time (if not the best), but you already knew that. The super talented Mike Henry aka Zatransis on Deviant created this grungy profile of our beloved Miss Valentine. He has an enormous gallery on Deviant Art you should definitely check out. It’s filled with some great illustrations in his delightful artistic style. Visit his website Big Menance Industries with his art buddy Ryan Hall and he also has a book featuring his artwork he’s selling called Face Bomb.

Here’s what he had to say about his Faye rendition,

“Hiya!

Last upload before Wizard World Chicago. I made a new brush yesterday and was dying to use it on something. This doesn’t demonstrate all the cool things I found I can do with it but it’s a good start.

Cowboy Bebop is my favorite show of all time yet I don’t have any art from it up in my gallery. Weeeiiirrrd. There IS a pic of Spike in my book but I’ve never put it up here.

Anyhow, here’s Faye. Definitely one of the best characters in Anime history and possibly the best female.

Hope ya like!”

    Awesome Faye!

Cowboy Bebop is why I am called Edward. It’s fun when new people are around and they have no idea why people are calling a girl Ed. :)
(Twilight almost ruined my nickname though, ugh!)

Thanks a lot for the feature! I hope I can get to more CB art in the future. Such an amazing series.

    Thanks again!

    M!
