My brother Myles and I are very close (but not Lannister close). He’s not just my brother, he’s my best friend. So when I found out he was interested in tattoos I suggested we get matching brother and sister tats. One day when I was looking at my blog mascot the 8-bit heart idea popped into my head. I asked Myles what he though, hoping that I finally found something that we both agreed on and he loved the idea. After months of us trying to figure out what to get tattooed, we finally figured it out!

Despite the countless Tattoo Tuesdays I’ve blogged about I didn’t have any geek-related tattoos of my own. Now I’m finally able to be featured on my own Tattoo Tuesday. I already know that my next tattoo will be a quote from Neil Gaiman’s Sandman comic series.

Myles being the boss that he is, got three tattoos his first time! He got the half filled 8-bit heart, a Megaman E-Tank and a Triforce from Zelda. Myles loves video games and he really likes Megaman and The Legend of Zelda.  We chose the 8-bit heart because it represents our love for games, geekery and our awesome sibling bond. Love you bro!
